Eleanor's Legacy

Rosina Rubin

Rosina Rubin divides her professional time between the business world and the arts.

As Chief Financial Officer of Attitude New York, Inc. since 1990, she has helped grow a struggling small business into a successful enterprise with 70 employees. During her tenure, she has worked on building and servicing a high-end clientele, creating an innovative company-sponsored health care plan, and developing a custom computer program for the chauffeured transportation industry.

In 1999, Rosina founded Atelier Anna Walinska, to catalogue and exhibit the work of her late aunt, painter Anna Walinska (1906-1997). Since that time, she has curated six exhibitions in the U.S. and one in the Czech Republic.

Prior to entering the entrepreneurial arena, Rosina spent six years in corporate communications at NBC and several years as a freelance writer and photographer.

A 1976 graduate of Brandeis University, in addition to the Eleanor Roosevelt Legacy, she sits on the boards of the Women’s Campaign Forum and the Rockland Center for the Arts. In her spare time, she has worked on Democratic political campaigns on the Federal, State and Local levels. In 2008, she was an elected delegate to the Democratic National Convention, representing Hillary Clinton.
