2009 Election Results
We had a successful year supporting 163 pro-choice Democratic women candidates across New York State!
From all accounts, our women candidates worked very hard knocking on doors, phoning supporters, and sharing their message. Some had the votes go their way and others did not, but they served as inspiration for generations of women to come and we so appreciate the work they have done. For all of us, our work continues as we reflect on the results of Tuesday’s elections, like Eleanor said, “With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts.”
We did want to share with you some of our victories from across the state.
