In 2008, Candidate Schools were held in New York City and Albany. Between 2001 and 2008, Eleanor's Legacy trained over 600 women candidates and campaign staffers in Candidate Schools across New York State. These schools have given women the tools they need to win elections from the village through the state level. For 2009, we have candidate schools planned for May 27th in Manhattan, July 11th on Long Island, and July 18th in Albany.

Candidate Schools are held in strategic regional locations in New York State and are open to all pro-choice Democratic women currently running for office or planning a future run; there is no cost to attend. In the past, schools have been held in Albany, Buffalo, Ithaca, Long Island, New York City, Rochester, Saratoga Springs, and Westchester. For more information, contact mail@eleanorslegacy.com.
