Annette - Hempstead
Sometime around April 2004 I found myself thinking how or who will get us out of this mess. Then I had a vision of Senator Clinton - knowing she wasn’t running, a very sad feeling empowered me.
During the 2005 year as I was going through some personal problems, Mrs. Clinton’s vision kept flashing; things were getting worse in our streets and internationally. I kept praying. Unfortunately the next presidential election was far. By September 2005, after I buried my eldest son, I realized I needed to get involved, only voting is not enough.
I found myself thinking this strong minded lady with her hands-on attitude, her perseverance, her experience, her leadership - that's what America needs to get out of this mess, so I decided to get involved. Even though I couldn’t do much, when the day came that she finally announced her candidacy I trembled with joy knowing she would bring substantial change. She did and kept it up. Hillary Clinton is the spirit of America. She doesn’t only break 18 millions cracks, she redefines our American values and women role in America and all over the world.
