Eleanor's Legacy

Gayle - Sea Cliff

I decided to retire and work as a volunteer in Hillary's Campaign for president, after having worked for 40 years as a professional social worker and administrator of mental health programs for a nonprofit organization. I was thrilled to travel to Iowa and Pennsylvania and enjoyed the telephone contacts that I made throughout the country on behalf of Hillary - she made me so proud to be a Democrat and a woman - her persistence, courage, discipline, joy, confidence, hard work, and classy demeanor just got better and better as she confronted adversity and challenges from both Democrats and Republicans- in the end she established herself as a leader in her own right and a beacon for all woman on what we can accomplish for ourselves and others. I think she is finally a much admired woman, one who has earned the respect she so rightfully deserves. Unfortunately even though I shook Hillary's hand in Iowa and Pennsylvania and New York, I have no pictures that I can include. Thank you for the opportunity to comment on what Hillary means to me.
