It is never too early to consider a run for office! We invite you to sign up now and join us at an upcoming candidate school. We also hope you will help us spread the word and encourage other women to get involved and consider a run as well. At present, New York ranks 23rd among state legislatures for the proportion of women in office. Of 62 State Senators, 10 are women and women have filled 42 of the 150 Assembly seats. We hope you will consider a run for public office and encourage other women you know to do the same!
