We’re going virtual!
Join us, via Zoom, Tuesday, April 28, 2020 for the third annual Sip and Stretch to Support Eleanor’s Legacy Fundraiser. $25 donation suggested, all proceeds will go to the Eleanor’s Legacy “Emergency Fund for Womxn Candidates” in response to COVID-19 and how it is rapidly, and dramatically, altering the campaign landscape for the many womxn who are still running for office in 2020! If COVID-19 has affected your daily income then this class is our gift to you, just reach out and let us know. If you are unable to attend, please consider making a contribution below in support of this event and our work.

Just Announced! We’ll be joined by special guest Hon. Tremaine Wright. She is running for the NYS Senate, 25th District to represent parts of Boerum Hill, Clinton Hill, Prospect Heights, Crown Heights, Bed-Stuy, Gowanus, and Red Hook. Currently a member of the NYS Assembly, Tremaine is a native of Brooklyn and chairs the Assembly Subcommittee on Foster Care.
When: Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at 6:30pm EST, Yoga class begins at 6:35pm. Zoom link provided in the hour prior to the event.
What You Need: Some way to join a Zoom video conference (ie computer, tablet, smart phone), a mat, 2 blocks, a blanket (which can also mean a towel and 2 big books, whatever works!), and beverage(s) of yogi’s choice
What to Expect When Stretching: A beginner/intermediate vinyasa yoga class that includes basic postures with an option to go deeper, and also includes attention to the breath. Postures are held for a moderate length of time to create awareness in the mind and body. This class is designed to help us all feel free in body and relaxed in mind so that we can face the day with ease.
What to Expect When Sipping: Please bring a beverage of your choosing and join us for a group cheers and virtual mingling after the yoga class.
